Inspired by the textiles and patterned tiles found while art retreating in mesmerizing Morocco. This one reminds me of the beautiful Moroccan Wedding Blankets with silver and gold medallions attached. I was told that the women wear these blankets as they ride on horseback so that their wedding party can hear them coming. This is an original acrylic painting, one of a kind, and ready to hang.
