Wooden tables

An oval, a circle and a rectangle; these are the shapes of a series of wooden tables Muller Van Severen created in honor of the 5th anniversary of Valerie Objects, one of the labels Muller Van Severen work with very closely. The top of the table has been milled out in such a way that it falls nicely into the frame and clamps itself until a small edge of 3 mm and a thin surface remains. The frame embraces the top with its soft rounded profiles and creates a subtle interplay between the solid steel and the warm wood. Different characters and atmospheres can be created with the choices of different colours (red, green, cream white and black) shapes (oval, circle, rectangular) and wood types (oak, maple, cherry and walnut).
