HAND PAINTED STATUE – 10 Inches High & 3 Inches Wide and is made of "Marfilita", which is a mixture of resin and marble dust to strengthen the resin. STORY ABOUT HERShe was born on August 26, 1910 in Albania and was naturalized in India. She founded the Missionary Congregation of Charity in Calcutta in 1950 and died of heart failure on September 5, 1997 in Calcutta. She was the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, as she became famous throughout the world for dedicating her life to helping the poorest. It was an example of generosity and humility towards others. PRAYERSaint Teresa of Calcutta, you who promised to continually bring the light of love to those who live on earth, intercede so that we too wish to quench the burning thirst of Jesus by loving him passionately, sharing his suffering with joy and serving with all our hearts in our brothers and sisters especially in those who are neither loved nor desired.
