Stole with Grapes Wheat Cross IHS

The stole was always white until the sixteenth century when it became customary to match its color to that of the chasuble or dalmatic and embroider a cross on it. This beautiful, raised multicolor Swiss Schiffli stole is delicately stitched with symbols of the Holy Eucharist and can be used for all liturgical occasions.
