Often times you may have a few extra wires to pass through a firewall after you have populated your main bulkhead on your firewall or need some 12ga wires for a water pump or fan that are not available in you main bulkhead connector, or maybe just want some separate from your other connector, or possibly have a need to pass wires through a relay panel or have a generic application. These flanged connectors are a great solution! They come in 12ga and 16 ga (good for 16-20 ga wires) AMPHENOL AT, and ATP series (comparable to, and compatible with Deutsch DT/DTP series) are used in harsh environment applications where even a small degradation in connection may be critical. Thermoplastic housings offer a wide operating temperature range and silicone rear wire and interface seals allow the connectors to withstand conditions of extreme temperature and moisture.
