As soon as the symbolic cross was erected on July 27, 2010, thousands of “pilgrims” were drawn to pray and worship God, including Angel Poorman of Abiline, TX, even before roads were in. This sculpture is the most symbolic cross in the world: Door, Way, Strong Tower, Mighty Fortress, Light, Blood, and Resurrection.
