Our old growth, tight grain maple is now perfectly dried in a vacuum kiln, X-rayed for defects, vertical grain billets are glued up and rested for a minimum of 30 days in our 15% +/- relative humidity shop before being milled to shape. Fretboard radius sanding blocks that have the details of handcrafted combined with the accuracy from modern machining tools.  This is a special 24” solid rock hard maple “One Plus One” fretboard radius block.
