By 1963, over 30 prototypes were completed, marking the completion of the official version of 'project 304,' now recognized internationally as 'the 1963.' As the factory expanded, it adopted various names. In 1974, coinciding with the commencement of watch exports, the name was anglicized to "Seagull."
