Maxxon Pontoons are made of premium, commercial-grade 0.9 mm 1100 denier PVC that offers strength and protection against extreme abrasion. Comprised of a specialized layering involving 36-ounce, 77-pound-tear-strength polyester material. This "fabric" offers greater dimensional stability and tensile durability throughout the entire material. Additional layers of this same 1100-D PVC, called chaffing pads, are then thermal-welded to the top and bottom of each unit, for added protection against abrasion.
