Borina Utilis Bamboo Hardiest of all the Borinda bamboos. The Utilis is a clumping (non running) bamboo, hardy down to 10f. Its foliage is feather like. It’s growth is cascading, with a somewhat weeping habit as it matures. This is a great bamboo for those who live in a northern, more mild part of the U.S. Tolerates deep shade, but can take morning sun with afternoon shade.
