Phyllostachys Aureosulcata 'Spectabilis'  Bamboo   Spectabilis is a some what rare type of  Crookstem. Its yellow culms have green striping in its sulcus.  Young spring culms grown in sunny locations become mahogany/purple. There is also some white variegation in its leaves and  some zigzagging to the culms.  It makes an excellent hedge or potted plant.  It is very hardy, down to -15° f. and can take windy locations as well.Phyllostachys aureosulcata ‘Spectabilis’Common name: SpectabilisHeight x Diameter:  30′ x 1.75″.
