Original Black Chai

This chai is the tea that started Maya Tea Company. In the humble beginnings of the company, this tea was made from a twist on a family chai recipe and sold at a farmers market. Traditionally served in India, Chai is a delicious type of tea that is strong and spicy with savory spices to complement the rich black tea. The tea is brewed strong and milk and sugar are added for a taste much like pumpkin pie. Our Original Black Chai uses a strong Assam Black Tea base and rich, earthy spices to creating a unique, but authentic chai. Delicious served in the Indian fashion, with milk and sugar, or appreciated on its own.
