Step 1: Pallidus MR1 Smart Sensors The Pallidus MR1 Smart Sensor is designed for rodent home-cages to accurately collect scientific data and improve animal care. A minimum of one (1) sensor is required to build a Pallidus monitoring system. Step 2: Gateway Connectivity (Recommended) Pallidus sensors communicate using LoRaWAN, a long-range wireless network that allows one gateway to receive data from sensors across multiple floors or buildings.
