Pivot Rod There are 2 pivot rods in every Phoenix Machine. In the Electric Machines (PE1, PE2, PE4-4) the first rod holds in place the upper tape plate (EM3-1). The second pivot rod holds the heater (E4-3.2) along with the brass rollers (EM4-2). These are held in place by a retainer (EM4-6) on the right side of the machines.
