Community Matters: Soaring Spirits International and the Widowed People Who Built It (MDRT Foundation)

Michele Neff Hernandez, Founder and Executive Director of Soaring Spirits International, learned through the heartbreaking death of her husband that when a spouse or partner dies, the living partner’s life as they know it ends—and a new life for the widowed person immediately begins. In this session, Michele will discuss the mission of Soaring Spirits and the transformative power of healing in community.  She will provide attendees with insights to better support newly widowed clients and offer suggestions for engaging and retaining these clients.
