Indoor Miniature Bird Cottage - Mahogany

The Miniature Bird Cottage was actually one of the very first gourds we ever made.  It was designed by Ben Bear, Founder of Meadowbrooke Gourds, in his home's garage in the winter of 1994.  His wife, Denise, helped him with dye colors and in 1995, it was introduced during our first year of business in 4 different colors.  In 1995, we sold around 4,800 of this design, with mahogany being the most popular color.  They made a wonderful little decoration in a house plant on a hook or as a Christmas tree decoration to hand down from generation to generation.   This indoor decorative birdhouse is mahogany in color.  It is approximately 2 1/2" in diameter and 6" tall with the metal hanger.  This birdhouse has a cute gourd stem perch.  This design must be hung on a hook or tree (design does not sit flat on a table).
