The MetScan V1 by Soarability is an advanced drone-mounted methane detection and 3D scanning system designed for the natural gas industry. Leveraging Open-Path Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (OP-TDLAS), it enables fast, accurate, and safe methane leak detection from a distance. Ideal for inspecting pipelines, gas wells, storage facilities, and urban environments, MetScan V1 makes large-scale methane monitoring efficient and actionable. Advanced Detection Technology MetScan V1’s OP-TDLAS sensor measures methane concentrations from 0 to 99,999 ppm·m with a relative error of ≤10% for typical emissions. Sampling at 50 Hz, it captures rapid changes in gas levels, ensuring that no leak goes undetected. Detection distances reach up to 160 meters during the day and 400 meters at night, with recommended working distances of up to 90 meters under strong sunlight and 200 meters in low-light conditions.
