H13 TRUE HEPA PERFORMANCE The Medify Air MA-18 uses a four-stage filtration process. Together, these filters remove 99.97% of particles down to 0.1 microns in diameter. The pre-filter removes larger particles such as hair, fibers, animal dander and others. The HEPA H13 filter removes PM2.5 smoke, pollen, dust mites, mold spores and others. The activated carbon filter absorbs odors, harmful VOCs, and other toxic substances such as formaldehyde or common household odors from cooking. The optional ionizer function produces negative ions to freshen the air. The unit can be used with or without the ionizer.
