Downflow Work Station, 24" Wide (DWS)

For those of you who dust with latent print powders, you know that sometimes the powders seem to go everywhere: on you, on the walls, on everything in the office and laboratory. To help solve this problem, some of you are using your chemical fume hoods as a dusting chamber. While chemical fume hoods protect you from breathing the powders, they don't keep the powders from getting all over the inside of the hood. Chemical fume hoods are better designed for vapors floating in the air. Powders are heavier than most vapors. Also, large evidence does not fit in the average size chemical fume hood, e. g., long rifles or shotguns. Here is a workstation to solve all of those problems. The air is drawn downward and away from you, and it has open sides where evidence can extend beyond the width of the unit. Particularly useful when working with fingerprint powders, this unique downflow workstation draws fumes and airborne particulates away from you. An extremely safe working environment is create
