Angelica OG - Live plant

 Angelica archangelica These field dug Angelica plants are available in 1 gallon pots. In the Garden Angelica is a majestic biennial.  A fantastic addition to any back border.   These plants are second year.  Let them go to seed and you will have Angelica for years to come.  We find that it mostly stays in the area you originally plant it.  The height is substantial, ours top 6 feet in the second year. Plant in full sun and well drained but not dry loam.  Zones 4-9 In the Apothecary Angelica has been used for hundreds of years to support the digestive system.  The canes are often candied, the seeds used in place of anise and the roots are used medicinally.   Angelica is known for supporting the digestive system, the liver, the respiratory system and the circulatory system.  It has been used to ease menstrual cramps and bring on menstruation. Harvest the root at the end of the first year. A stunning and useful plant to add to your apothecary gardens.
