Borago officinalis These field dug Borage plants are available in 1 gallon pots. In the Garden Grows best in zones 3 through 10 in almost any soil.  Full Sun. This self-seeding annual can grow to 1.5 feet tall. Harvest leaves in the Spring and flowers in July/August.   Best harvested while the leaves are young.  Add to salads to eat fresh or dry for use in teas.  The seeds are also very medicinal but difficult to harvest. In the Apothecary Use the leaves and flower as an infusion or a culinary herb; seeds to make a seed oil. Borage provides adrenal support, but if pregnant use only under the guidance of a practitioner.
