Stop-Motion Animation Afterschool Club

In this 6-week after-school class, we will use stop-motion animation as a tool for storytelling and building one's artistic voice. We'll learn about storyboarding,  build props, backdrops, and the confidence necessary for bold creative expression (but also patriarchy toppling).  We'll wrap up the last week of class with a micro film festival sharing the work created during the class.   *All levels of experience welcome! Created for artists ages 12 and up (please reach out if you have a younger artist who is interested).   We'll meet from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm on Mondays (January 26-March 2)  *Bring your own iPad or phone (iOS 16.6 or later)  with Stop Motion Studio installed (I'll send you a link to the app with registration confirmation).  What's included?   -All materials used in class (paint, paper, modeling clay, tag, cardboard, everything needed to build your own characters, props, and set design),  -A super supportive community of young artists to create with each week  -Instruction
