Handcrafted "Low Tide Barnacle Teapot" from Meghan Bergman Ceramics. Wheel thrown and altered with white stoneware, and fired in an electric kiln. Nothing warms the soul quite like a hot cup of tea. As another nod to Japanese style pottery, I love designing and making these "yokode kyusu" style side handled teapots.  I find inspiration from organic objects and underwater life in nature as well as Japanese culture, especially the idea that things should be wabi-sabi or 'perfectly imperfect'.
