Suspended Mouse Necklace

Inspired by the oddly whimsical poses of prey animals as they're carried off by owls and hawks, this enamel mouse pendant hangs from hand-braided embroidery thread that's been tied around its middle to give the look of being suspended by the necklace itself. The braid is a charcoal grey hue, matching the darker shades in the mouses fur, and is finished off with a rustic knot. materials: enamel, watercolor enamel, copper, embroidery floss necklace length: 28" pendant length: 1 3/4"  pendant width: 1 3/4" *I hand-paint each individual piece of my jewelry with enamel.
