Not all products can be bought right off the shelf. Some products are custom made upon order. For example, hand crafted furniture.Since you do not have the products ready-made, you can’t set a standard price. You can opt to not set a price at all. But in a Shopify store, you have to put a price(even it is $0) or keep it saying sold out. Obviously so, since a customer can’t purchase that product. But then, how does an interested customer contact you?Instead of providing a single point of contact on your site, a customer friendly option would be to provide a price inquiry or ‘Request A Quote’ button, on every Shopify single product page. An interested customer can surely use this option, to send you an inquiry email about the product, and request a quote for the price. Request a quote button hides the price and add to cart button of your products and allows your customers to inquire more information about a product.
