Oregano
Description The name is derived from the Greek meaning “joy of the mountains” and is in the mint family. With spiky purple flowers, Oregano has been used in cooking and in medicinal practice for centuries. Carvacrol, one of the main constituents of Oregano, is strong and powerful with purported antioxidant properties. A classic herb in Italian dishes and pizza, Oregano oil has a strong and herbal aroma.
