Japanese Spoon Gouge

A spoon gouge has a curved tip to hollow out the bowl of a spoon. It is useful for cleaning grooves and carving out round shapes. The blade is long inside the handle and can be used for a long time by shaving down the handle like a pencil. Each tool is made from high-quality Yasuki blue steel laminated with soft steel. The handles are made from Japanese Cypress, which is soft and light to use.
