Pansy is a moody floral, and came about when I was doing some gel plate printing this fall. I was testing paints to use for the gel plate, and thought this moody gray print needed some pink flowers! You can also see (if you look closely) where I tested some colored graphite papers on the background as well! It was an exercise in play and experimentation :) Acryla gouache on paper, 9" x 11"
