Lavender Tallow All Purpose Salve

Tallow is a traditional cooking fat.  It has also been used throughout the years topically to heal and nourish your skin.  High in fat soluble vitamins including A, D, E, K2 and more.  Rich in healthy saturated fats, omega 3’s, stearic acid and conjugated linoleic acid. When done properly, I believe that raising meat is quite sustainable and practical. Along with honoring and taking really good care of the animals, I also believe in the importance of using every part.  I am blessed to live in a state that is abundant with farmers who raise cows the right way. I use suet from local grass fed cows. These beautiful cows live and breathe the beautiful Vermont air, drink clean water and eat fresh, juicy grass each day of their lives(well hay in the winter).
