Citizenship isn’t just about following rules — it’s about being an active part of something bigger than yourself. For many young people, it can be hard to see how their small choices impact their school, home, or community. But when given the opportunity to reflect, participate, and take meaningful action, they start to understand that citizenship is a living value. The Citizenship Worksheets include two separate, but complementary activity-filled pages. On Understanding Citizenship, clients reflect on responsible actions and think through real-life issues in their home, school, or community. Being a Good Citizen builds on this with matching activities, a space to draw or write their own ideas, and prompts to identify citizenship role models. As they complete the worksheets, kids grow a deeper sense of responsibility.
