Shark Tooth Pendant with Two Labradorite Cabochons

This is a real shark tooth, with a Labradorite set on top and a faceted Labradorite set into the front. The tooth is completely sealed in pure copper, capturing all of the intricate detail and imperfections of nature. Designed by Mermaid Raven, then electroformed in pure copper and hand oxidized for a beautiful aged look.   3 inches tall by 1.5 inches wide. Comes with 18 inch copper chain with freshwater pearl beads. One of a kind, hand made by Mermaid Raven.  Pure Copper electroformed and oxidized by hand.   Labradorite is a feldspar mineral of the plagioclase series that is most often found in mafic igneous rocks. Some Labradorite exhibit a strong play of iridescent blue, green, red, orange, and yellow colors, sometimes called flash. Labradorite is so well known for these spectacular displays of color that the phenomenon is known as "labradorescence."
