This hardwood cutting board is crafted to appeal to be both functionally and ascetically beautiful. This is a cutting solid cutting board! Standing over 1 3/4" tall, it definitely is not your "standard" 1/4" to 1/2" piece. You will feel the difference this extra thickness adds when using it or just picking it up. This oversized cutting board is one of our larger size offered. You just won't find a more beautiful cutting board. Attached to the bottom are 4 non-slip rubber feet (pads). With the cutting board elevated, it now won't be sitting in water or anything else which might get under it when using it on your counter top or table. The 4 edges of the cutting board have also been Chamfered (some people call this "beveled") which adds an additional dimensional look to the edges of the piece.
