This hardwood cutting board is crafted to appeal to be both functionally and ascetically beautiful.  This cutting board is almost 1 1/2" thick and not the standard 1/4" to 1/2" thickness. You will feel the difference this extra thickness adds when using it!  Attached to the bottom are 4 non-slip rubber feet (pads). With the cutting board elevated, it now won't be sitting in water or anything else which might be under the cutting board. The 4 edges of the cutting board have also been Chamfered (beveled). This adds an additional dimensional look to the edges of the piece. Not only is this a beautiful cutting board but it can also be used as a serving tray or a charcuterie board.
