Hojicha Powder

A smooth, finely ground hojicha offering rich roasted character. Founded in 1915 and led by Yoshiharu Matsushita, Matsushita Tea Garden grows organic tea on 17 hectares of farmland. The company produces a range of teas including sencha, matcha, gyokuro, hojicha, black tea, and genmaicha, and is guided by a philosophy of cultivating healthy soil to create flavorful tea. After processing in the Mansui factory followed by roasting, the hojicha is finely ground to an average particle size of about 15 microns and sifted through a 100-mesh screen to ensure a smooth, consistent powder.
