About the Artisans:  Santa María Atzompa is recognized around the world for creating beautiful products made of green clay, red clay and for their specific technique in molding clay flowers and leaves. Their designs have a distinct color and high quality, which is known as the "filigree" designs for clay. This specific design of clay is created by molding the figures by hand.
