Sheepskin Zipper Pouch #1

Fuzzy grey sheepskin pouch with a chunky brass zipper, perfect for carrying toiletries or tinctures in your larger bag, or as a clutch. Patched with tanoak bark tanned sheep leather. * This one is discounted for some minor cosmetic quirks shown in photo 4 - a small patch along the zipper that has no wool. *   Made from sheepskins tanned and sewn by me, and a high quality brass zipper made in Switzerland.    Approximate measurements: 8.5" w x 4.5" h x 2" d . This hide is tanned with mimosa (Acacia mearnsii) tannin extract, with additional ingredients used in the process including: salt, citric acid, soap, and distilled vinegar. They are softened with sheep tallow soap, sunflower seed lecithin, and olive oil. Because the tanning and washing process I use does not involve harsh petroleum-derived solvents, and instead mostly handwork, the wool may contain seeds or small pieces of leaves and other vegetable matter, and it may also retain a faint smell of sheep and bark.
