This compound microscope is a day-to-day workhorse instrument for biological applications. This microscope features a 45 degree inclined, 360 degree rotating trinocular head with adjustable interpupillary distance, two pairs of eyepieces (10X and 20X), four objective lenses with four magnification options (4X, 10X, 40X and 100X), a 3D double layer mechanical stage, precise coarse and fine focusing, and a brightfield LED illumination system. It offers eight total magnification powers (40X, 80X, 100X, 200X, 400X, 800X, 1000X and 2000X). The microscope features a dedicated photo port for attaching a camera. The compound microscope is ideal for studying cellular sized specimen on glass slides, like semen, urine, and feces samples. The durable enamel finished metal is stain- and corrosion-resistant. With software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, the MU series is a multi-platform imaging solution. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while simultaneously capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.
