This LED illuminator is designed specifically for the Leica DMR microscope, and replaces all existing electronics. If you have a DMR with failed circuit board, rheostat, or socket this is the perfect solution It provides brighter illumination while being more energy  efficient. You can install this yourself, or we can install this into your microscope for an additional cost. Custom-designed to fit the form factor of the Leica DMR. Remote adjustment on an existing control on the microscope is standard. Brightness control potentiometer on the new illuminator available on request.
