Meiji SAS-2 Articulating Arm Microscope Stand

The SAS-2 Articulating  heavy duty industrial-type boom stand comes with a 20mm diameter drop down mounting post to perfectly complement our EMZ (Zoom), EMT (Turret), EMF (Fixed) Series Stereo Microscope with the proper focus block. Lift Articulating Arm offers the greatest amount of reach along with ease to vertical positioning. The total arm length gives the user a total of 37” from the center of the vertical pole to the center of the focus block.  Approximately 15 inches vertical travel, plus/minus 7.5 inches from horizontal, is controlled via an adjustable gas spring counter balance providing a "safe" lift and descent. The counter balance also allows "free floating" of objects from 0- 20 lbs. An ambidextrous vertical position lock is provided. The arm also accepts the industry standard 5/8" "Bonder" pin focus blocks, when an optional OS-LAEA is ordered.
