What We Believe

In many churches across the world, the Apostles' Creed is regularly recited. Some congregations recite it weekly. Does familiarity with this ancient creed breed contempt? Do we recite it so often that it has become meaningless to us? Dr. Venema's exposition and study of the Apostles' Creed encourages a renewed appreciation and increased understanding of the basic tenets of the Christian faith. With this renewed appreciation, we can more fully and effectively use this creed in the church's educational ministry. An increased understanding of these great Christian truths will make them come alive within our own hearts and minds.
