A step up in power and accessories from the smaller 50mm model, the PowerSeeker 60 60mm f/12 AZ Refractor Telescope from Celestron is a starter scope designed to introduce viewers to astronomy by giving them a complete setup for viewing the moon, planets, and meteor showers. Outfitted with a 1.25" rack-and-pinion focuser, it will accept the most popular-sized eyepieces and accessories in addition to the two eyepieces, diagonal, and Barlow lens that comes with it. The 90° diagonal corrects the image horizontally and vertically to use the scope as a spotter on the land and puts the user's head in a more comfortable position, especially when the scope is aimed high in the sky. A 3x Barlow lens is included and effectively triples the magnification of any eyepiece used with it for a wider range of observing possibilities.
