90% Silver State Quarter Hoop Earrings. These earrings are handmade using actual United States 90% silver proof quarters. They are then soldered with sterling silver earwires and backings. Because of the high silver content of these coins these earrings will never irritate your skin. We offer these hoops in 2 sizes - 1" or 1 1/4". These earrings make great travel souvenirs, going away gifts or just a unique conversation starter. Carry a piece of your favorite state with you everywhere you go with these truly unique earrings! To make these coin hoop earrings we use 2 silver quarters. To create them we punch the center out of the coins and then form the outer piece into hoops. We are left with the center punch outs of the coins which still contain details unique to that quarter design.
