Stone Setting Pendants - 7 hours

NEW addition to this workshop: Students will be able to attach added embellishments around their stone. This includes shadow box wires and decorative balls. Previously we only did stamping for border designs, which is what is shown in most of the photos. This workshop is similar to the Statement Ring workshop but will cover pendant and necklace attachments instead of ring shanks. Included materials are also different in this workshop, see below. In this fun and challenging class students will learn how to make a bezel setting for a cabochon stone (which has a flat bottom and rounded top). Stones will be available and included in the price. We will go over how to get a snug fit for the bezel, the basics of soldering, how to get a clean bond without melting your metal, general pendant design, and embellishments like stamping or hammered texture.
