Statement Rings - 7 hours

NEW addition to this workshop: Students will now be able to attach added embellishments around their stone. This includes shadow box wires and decorative balls as seen in the first few photos. Previously we only did stamping and border shape, which is what is shown in most of the other photos. In this fun and challenging class students will learn how to make a bezel setting for a cabochon stone (which has a flat bottom and rounded top). Stones will be available and included in the price. We will go over how to get a snug fit for the bezel, the basics of soldering, how to get a clean bond without melting your metal, general ring design, and embellishments like stamping or hammering. This class works well for total beginners with no experience as well as people who have already been making jewelry and want a crash course on soldering.
