The High Sea's - Sapphire Set in Brass - Ring

After a lot of tinkering I finally came back to one of my original designs. This time they're stronger and more resilient. They're held in place by collapsing the edge of the hole around the gemstone.  My girlfriend's niece always asks to play with my bracelet whenever she sees me. She once asked why all of the jewelry I make looks like buried treasure. I told her: "I think its cool." There's something deeply romantic about the notion of sailing the high seas. The spray of salt, the freedom to explore in all directions, the ship beneath you crashing through the waves. And also the the preparations involved. You need to have a ship capable of withstanding the voyage. And to construct one takes time and the know how to apply the skill of ship building. Then there's the knowledge of navigation, which I have learned is incredibly complex. There's a ton of work involved if you wanted to go searching for sunken treasure, which is probably why pirates settled on attacking other ships to steal
