This ring was born from both Nick's time as an electrician's apprentice and from having his hair braided. The first part inspired the ends of the ring. The later, the central part. The ends of this piece are made by taking three strands of stainless steel and twisting them tight together. It mimics the electrician's splice that connects wires and creates continuity within a circuit. The central feature is a very loose braid. One of Nick's ex-girlfriends did a wicked job and made him look like a badass Viking about to march into battle— or farm. You know how that goes. Nick loved the way the braid looked, but achieved inconsistent results when trying to recreate the tight braid in metal. He also failed when trying to achieve the braids his ex put in when it came to his own hair. He hasn't rocked braids since then. The name or this piece is two-fold.
