Sleep Eternal - Lab Created Sapphire Ring

 The stone nestled into this ring is a lab grown ceylon sapphire.   The inspiration for this piece came from the visage of Satoru Gojo, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen. I'm a huge fan of anime, and his blue eyes  are mesmerizing.   There are many things that come to mind as I hold this piece. Some people say it reminds them of a medieval monarch. Some also say it reminds them of Game of Thrones. To me, this ring transports me back to a time where I wish I could sleep forever— a blissful numbness. I still sometimes wish I could go there. The truth, is that feeling is really hard. There are so many ways for us to drown out our voice, our needs, and our true wants. This ring is a reminder that wanting to numb out or disconnect is no different from any of our other emotions. I see this wanting as a call for help.
