The Coffin

One of two Halloween themed pieces from the October drop. This one was something Nick had wanted to put out for a while and he was finally able to bring it to life at the right moment.   From Nick: Death is something that none of us can escape. The coffin is often thought of as our final resting place, but to me I look at it a bit different. While it's a grand esoteric discussion that mystics and philosophers have debated for as long as we've been around, what does it really mean to die? We continue to hold people in our memories. And as far as I'm aware our matter doesn't just cease to exist. All of the things that comprised us are still here. We just exist in a slightly different form.   Death still hurts and loss can still cause create suffering. But death can also bring renewal. And death can be less dramatic than we often make it out to be. Many people relate personal journeys to a "death of the old" mantra.
