Ando Hiroshige  Goju-san Tsugi Meisho Zue (Famous Places of Fifty-three Stations) So called "Vertical or Upright Tokaido series". Station 46, Shono. The remains of Shiratori-zuka. After the successful publication of the Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido in 1833/34 (Hoeido edition), Ando Hiroshige made nearly twenty more series of the Tokaido Stations. One is called the Upright Tokaido because of the use of the vertical portrait format.
