Yoshitoshi - Minamoto Yorinobu

Tsukioka Yoshitoshi  Minamoto Yorinobu, from the series Mirror of Famous Generals of Great Japan (Dai nihon meishô kagami)「大日本名将鑑　源頼信」 Dramatic design of Minamoto no Yorinobu crossing a bay to attack the rebel Taira no Tadatsune. Dressed in armor and wearing a horned battle helmet, he leans forward on his gray horse as a retainer swims alongside him, holding the horse's bridle as the panicked animal rears its head. Another warrior holds the Minamoto banner high, the cloth fluttering in the wind.  Condition: Print color saturation and overall condition is very good. Margins as shown. No tears or holes.
